Lingor Island allowed?

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to put this on the wiki, since it's NOT related to the offcial DayZ in any way. It's only possible to play on Lingor Island with private servers and this is against the rules made by Rocket. I suggest to remove this page and any references to private servers. - Grezvany13 (talk) 19:32, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Should be deleted

I think we should only provide informations about the legal DayZ mod (not the hacked versions...)
AND not on the main page... Chill0r (talk) 17:42, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

I'm conflicted on this issue. Lingor Island is just a map modification to regular DayZ which many people enjoy. But Rocket also isn't a fan... Maybe we move it somewhere else (off main page) but where? Smokie (talk) 17:57, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

I agree that this doesn't really belong on the wiki. If the dev. team doesn't want it to be around, and doesn't advise players to play it, we really shouldn't have it OR the installation instructions right there near the top of the page. Or, if we didn't want to remove it, we could just remove the installation instructions. It just kinda seems like advocating installing it, with them on there.
